MIRDC, along with the ECM Group, will work together to establish the "ECM × MIRDC Synergy Center" for the high value-added precision manufacturing and components industries in Taiwan. High-value manufacturing and component industries, the establishment of MIRDC, the future will focus on optoelectronic semiconductor, medical devices, electric vehicles and communications and other industrial applications, to help Taiwan's component manufacturers to seize more than $ 20 billion in business opportunities.

As the global markets for machinery, vehicles, electronics and other products and equipment have continued to grow at a high rate in recent years, leading to an increase in the demand for machinery components, coupled with the geographical and manufacturing advantages, Taiwan has great opportunities to develop a global supply center for machinery components. To develop higher value-added precision components, heat treatment technology will play a key role, especially in the control of low deformation, high-efficiency energy-saving processes and highly reliable intelligent equipment design. In recent years, under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, through the resources allocated to various scientific and technical projects, such as the Environmental Protection Agency and the Critical Project, the Metal Center has been commissioned to gradually establish a complete heat treatment related process development, simulation and testing and analysis capabilities, and this time, combined with the internationally renowned French ECM Group's experience in the design and high-precision control of vacuum heat-treatment equipment, it will help Taiwan's heat-treatment industry to establish a total solution for the materials, processes, systems, and equipment, allowing Taiwan to become a major global player in the heat-treatment industry.
