HEADWAY Automation's General Manager, Mr. Max Lo, was invited to Foo Yin Science and Technology University (FYSTU) as a professional lecturer for the “Smart Health Technology Industry Forum 2024”. The forum was held on October 23-24 at Fu Ying Science and Technology University, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as smart health technology, intelligent elderly care and industrial robotics applications, and attracting experts and scholars from the medical, technology and academic sectors. The forum aims to strengthen the collaboration between industry, government, academia and research institutes, and to promote industrial innovation and enhance the competitiveness of the industries in the southern part of the country using artificial intelligence technology.

Promoted by the President of Foo Yin University of Science and Technology (FYUST), Mr. Lin Hui Xian, this year's Smart Health Technology Forum covers a wide range of topics and showcases the latest technological applications. The event focused on three core issues, namely healthy living, smart technology and sustainable environment, and showcased several industry-academia collaborations. There are three main themes in the Forum:
- Intelligent care, precise care: Experts from E-Da Hospital and Paramount Medical Corporation are invited to explore the application of smart healthcare and smart elderly care, and share innovative cases of AI in healthcare and nursing care.
- Intelligent Environmental Control and Intelligent Technology: Led by experts from National Kaohsiung University and a number of technology companies, the exhibition will focus on the latest trends in intelligent healthcare robotics and intelligent manufacturing, and analyze in-depth the current status of AI and industrial robotics applications in intelligent healthcare.
- Intelligent Technology Exhibition: Industrial robots and intelligent sensor technologies provided by Juswell Technology and ABB Abbott were on display, allowing visitors to experience the latest technological applications and to further understand intelligent health care and industrial application technologies.
Promoting Industry-University Collaboration for a Smart Future
President of Foo Yin University of Science and Technology, Mr. Lin Hui Hsien, said that the university, as a major training center for healthcare talents in the south, actively promotes industry-academia cooperation, and hopes that through this forum, academic research results can be transformed into industrial applications and more technological talents with cross-disciplinary capabilities can be nurtured.
